Makayla and Lucy here… welcome! We are so honored you’re here.

What once started as a couple of moms trying to navigate their way through the waves of motherhood has now transformed into a space of support, guidance and community. Our Golden Hour family is growing rapidly, both in our own homes and alongside all of you! What a gift!

Before we jump into too many of the formalities at an attempt to “hook” your attention, know that we are two moms runnin’ the homes and runnin’ this business with our entire hearts on our sleeves. We operate strictly on ultimate trust in our Creator to allow His will to be done, with love that softens our hearts with each breath we take, and the supernatural gift of continuous joy that has us rising at 4am to respond to your calls with ease and excitement. “My yolk is easy and my burden light.” These words have never made more sense than through the gift of serving our women and families here. Pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding… none of it is meant to be done alone, and we are here as God’s vessels to make it a little easier and a little lighter for you. This dream is our reality, and we get to share in so many beautiful, pivotal moments with you… we cannot thank you enough!

The more experiences we obtain, whether we are near your side whispering words of encouragement or we are the ones birthing babies ourselves, the more we see these words come to life. “The joyous burdens of love.” Pregnancy, labor, birth, breastfeeding, postpartum - all of these stages of life are filled with burdens of love. While these burdens may truly be so heavy sometimes, the joy comes when we surrender to these burdens and allow them to transform us, to change us into better versions of ourselves. In the spaces of growth, we find overwhelming love can flow forth. In whatever way is asked us of, we are here to rise, support you, and witness you experience these absolutely joyous burdens of love.
